GOMMI ARCADE – Episode I: Welcome to Neo Tokio (Animated Trailer)

Welcome to the Future (未来へようこそ) – GOMMI ARCADE presents the animated trailer for Episode I: Welcome to Neo Tokio.

The saga began with the release of the limited edition ‘Future-Shock’ watch, created in collaboration with the futurist fashion brand Nooka, a time manipulation device worn by Gommi in our story and brought out into the human world, which will be followed by a series of creative projects. So stay tuned as we continue to bring fashion, art, music, style and technology back from the future and into the present!

Animated Trailer (above) and Plot Synopsis (below).

Title: GOMMI ARCADE – Episode I: Welcome to Neo Tokio

Genre(s): Anime (Japanese animation), Sci-Fi Thriller, Cyberpunk, Live-Action, 3D

Summary: A young computer design student learns from a mysterious mask about the true reality of his environment and his role in the rebellion against its rulers.

Plot Synopsis: The saga begins in the year 2025 A.D. in Neo Tokio, a city-nation split between both the “real world” and the extensively detailed digitized world. Considered by its citizens the most technologically advanced society, it is really a simulated reality, a socially isolated virtual world where all individuals are under intense supervision to ensure compliance with the new order. Controlled by Supreme Executives – a top ranking mercenary agency in charge of managing the city of Neo Tokio and policing its citizens – for the sole purpose of pacifying and subduing all forms of youth culture: restricting self-expression, curbing intellectual curiosity and perpetually enslaving its citizens.
