Synopsis:

The saga begins in the year 2025 A.D. in Neo Tokio, a city-nation split between both the “real world” and the extensively detailed digitized world. Considered by its citizens the most technologically advanced society, it is really a simulated reality, a socially isolated virtual world where all individuals are under intense supervision to ensure compliance with the new order. Controlled by Supreme Executives – a top ranking mercenary agency in charge of managing the city of Neo Tokio and policing its citizens – for the sole purpose of pacifying and subduing all forms of youth culture: restricting self-expression, curbing intellectual curiosity and perpetually enslaving its citizens.

However, the years of regimentation and draconian censorship gave birth to a counter-culture that embraced art, design and expression. A teenager named Gommi Arcadian plans a rebellion against the owners of Neo Tokio and forms a resistance movement known as ARMi (Art, Research, Media and Intelligence), which strikes back at the empire utilizing innovative technology, graphic design and street art to spread messages of inspiration and creative freedom.
